Senior Years (Grades 5 – 6)

In the senior school, we are committed to providing a learning environment that fosters enjoyment, engagement and growth for all.
The senior school recognises and values the diverse talents and abilities of all individuals. We develop learning targets in all curriculum areas: Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening, Numeracy, Word Study and prepare personal learning plans to support learning.
Students are encouraged to develop a sense of community as they become active, responsible members of the wider community.
Classroom learning plans are flexible and dependent upon the students’ needs within the grade. All students continue developing their knowledge and understandings in Health, Humanities and Respectful Relationships.
Each year students participate in our Relationships and Sexual Education program, to increase their knowledge and understandings around protective behaviours and review changes that occur to our bodies as we grow older.
